A multiplexed aseptic bioreactor autosampling platform for upstream/downstream bioprocess development and PAT (Process Analytical Technology). The MAST system aseptically collects samples from multiple bioreactor sources and routes them to analytical instruments in near real-time — eliminating manual sampling, reducing contamination risk, and delivering process and quality data in hours instead of days.

System includes:

• MAST Sample Navigator controllers (route up to 5 sample sources each)
• MAST Analytical Navigator controllers (direct samples to up to 4 analytical destinations)
• MAST Master Controllers (integrate sample pilots, valves, and pumps)
• MAST Cell Removal Systems (deliver cell-free samples to HPLC/MS and other instruments)
• Gilson Verity dual syringe pumps, Gilson XYZ liquid handlers/autosamplers, and a Gilson Valvemate valve actuator
• (2) Cole-Parmer Polystat refrigerated/heated circulators for temperature control

Originally developed at Bend Research/Capsugel with Pfizer, Eli Lilly and other major biopharma partners; the platform is still manufactured and supported new by MilliporeSigma.
