Thermo Scientific HAAKE MiniLab 3 micro compounder, a benchtop conical twin-screw extruder for compounding and processing very small polymer samples. With a 7 cm³ batch volume, it’s suited to R&D, material screening and formulation work where sample material is limited or expensive. A built-in backflow channel with a pneumatic bypass valve lets material recirculate for a controlled residence time and measure melt viscosity before extrusion. The unit shown includes the pneumatic ram feeder on its mounting arm.
